Marysville Camp Update

We arrived safely at Marysville Camp. Spirits were high even though the weather was less than perfect. Students enjoyed lunch before the great reveal of their cabins and activity groups.

After lunch students split into groups and participated in a range of activities including canoeing (no-one fell in), bush skills, grow it – cook it and hiking. On the hike, we met an old Gentleman named Jack. He invited some of the students into his museum and talked about the 2009 Black Saturday Fires how he, his wife and dog survived.

For dinner, we all enjoyed a delicious roast with vegetables followed by a popular chocolate brownie.  After dinner students participated in a very competitive yet highly entertaining trivia night.
