Last week Mr Coleman and eight leaders from grade 5 and 6 went to the “Melbourne Water Wise” Conference – kids teaching kids. Over two days the children were entertained and educated on the importance of caring for our water as a community. The children attended workshops at Melbourne University run by other students and listened to speeches from Ministers at a state and federal level. We were also treated to a Gala dinner on the Monday night and a fun festival the following day at the Collingwood Childrens’ Farm. The day was a great fun and our presentation was a great success. The children left the conference with new skills, leadership aspirations and some new friends.
