On Monday, some of the Grade 5 & 6 girls attended a morning tea at Malvern Town Hall hosted by Kelly O’Dwyer (MP for Higgins and Assistant Treasurer). Johanna Weston from the Melbourne Vixens Netball Team and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull were also in attendance! All 3 presenters delivered inspiring speeches about the importance of women in sport and how you can achieve whatever you want. It was a great occasion for the students, some taking the opportunity to get a selfie with the Prime Minister.
