Mt Buller

Conditions couldn’t have been better for our students to spend time in the snow! Forty one year five students enjoyed many hours learning how to ski with qualified instructors and highly skilled TPS staff. As you can imagine, this camp can be challenging for students who have never seen snow or skied previously – walking in ski boots, unfamiliar footwear rubbing around their ankles and shins and then actually learning how to ski. However, after mastering the above, obvious glee and sheer excitement is a wonder to behold. At Toorak Primary School, the ski program has been in operation for five years. As a result, organisation is finely tuned so that students gain as much as possible from this wonderful opportunity. If you happen to see those teachers who so willingly take students on camps, please thank them for their commitment to the all round education of our students. We appreciate their dedication and contribution to Government School education.
