New Caledonia

Thanks to Eva Anderson, Toorak Primary School will be offering a French immersion program in 2016. Up to 20 students from grades 5 and 6 will visit New Caledonia for eight days in order to further develop their language skills in preparation for secondary school.  Eva Anderson, has for many years, expressed a desire to provide our students with the opportunity to visit New Caledonia as part of the French Language Program. Eva is very involved with other language teachers across Victorian Government Schools who currently participate in the program and have highly recommended this wonderful opportunity. Eva has been liaising with GET to provide an itinerary and travel arrangements. The approximate price for eight nights accommodation, flights, activities and most meals will be approximately $2000. A maximum of 20 students will be permitted to attend with five adults also attending to supervise students. A parent information night will be held in term four to provide families with details of the program.
