I have received a letter from the Department of Education and Training confirming that a 7-12 secondary school will be built in the Prahran area. The Government has also planned for further growth at Elwood College, Glen Eira College and Albert Park College. In addition the Government has also made announcements about two new primary schools in the South Melbourne area to relieve pressure on existing schools. A consultancy company, Zbar Consultants, has been commissioned to gather information about current and future student enrolements, current curriculum provision and future needs.
