What a wonderful occasion it was to see so many of fathers and grandfathers enjoying a delicious breakfast, ball games, freshly brewed coffee and socialising in the warm spring sunshine. A special message of thanks is extended to Andreas Vecchiet father of Kaaya 3A and Kezia 5/6B for organsing the event. Also special thank you to George Ajami father of Lily in prep B for providing large quantities of food for the breakfast.
Thank you to Barbeques Galore for generously providing the school with a new barbeque at less than half the original price. We are fortunate to be able to use funds from the Mother’s Day stall to purchase the new barbeque. Thank you also to Tim Coleman for researching the options available to the school.
The bike shed research is drawing to a conclusion with all quotes now received. A decision will be made over the next few weeks so that works can begin in preparation for the summer months. Funds raised from the Fashion Night will pay for most of this project with support from a grant through Cycling Victoria.
Parents please don’t forget that Friday September 11th is a student free day. Staff will be at school planning for term four curriculum delivery but students are not required at school on Friday.
