When a child has a large number of absences from school this can greatly impact on the learning outcomes achieved in years to come. If a child misses 30 days a year from Prep until the end of grade 6 they have missed over a year of schooling. Whilst some absences are unavoidable please endeavour to make sure your child attends school regularly.
