Term 2 brings new challenges and excitement. We have begun our new inquiry topic ‘Living Things’ and have looked at what is living or non-living. 
In Writing, the Preps are learning about procedural texts; how they inform the reader how to do/make something and the format required. This can be quite tricky but they have made a fantastic start in this genre. The students loved making (and then eating) fairy bread which was our first look at procedural texts. 
Lastly we have started some preparations for Mothers’ Day but we have to keep that one a surprise.
