Toorak Traffic School Day
On Thursday 19th of November, The Green Team hosted our first Traffic School Day in the school grounds. It was a huge success with almost 80 percent of the students riding on a range of transport including bikes, scooters, skateboards and wheelies.
Each year level had a session on the created streets, obeying traffic signs and receiving house point fines for offences such as: going through a red light, riding the wrong way down a one way street and for reckless driving.
Money was raised at toll points to contribute to the installation of the new bike shed and other areas of our buildings and grounds.
We hope that the day promoted safe active travel to and from school, and we wish to see more students utilising the new bike shed.
