I would like to thank all students and staff for their enthusiastic participation in the French Day activities.
A special and huge thank you to my parent helpers: Kirsty Iles, Michelle Osborne, Le-Anne Ormiston, Peta Haines, Martina Egan and Gail Balding. We could not have achieved what we did in the kitchen without them and we hope that the children enjoyed making the truffles, pancakes and fruit salad.
A huge thank you to Rebecca Skinner for her wonderful assistance in teaching the students some French folk dances.
Special thanks also to students Coco Hains, Matilda Handbury, Sohia Iles, Stasiya Marchenko, Lachlan Bushby, Ella Stewart and Daniel Dessau for their help on the day.
I am still going through the photos to award prizes for best posters and dress on the day. The recipients will be announced at next term’s Assembly and prizes awarded in class.
