Today we are excited to introduce a new app called QkR (pronounced ‘quicker’), which will make ordering and payment of tuckshop a breeze!
The QkR app allows parents to use their ‘smart devices’ to create lunch orders without having to give their children cash to carry to school. For those without access to a smart phone, a web-based version of QkR is available: https://qkr.mastercard.com/store/#/home.
Please click here Qkr App for specific information regarding the use and set-up of QkR. The set up will only take you a few minutes and you will immediately be able to order for the next tuck shop scheduled for Friday the 13th of May. Information sheets are posted around the school including on the tuck shop kitchen door.
The volunteers who run tuck shop are looking forward to the efficiency and better quality information we will get from the app, compared to the manual handling of money required with the current process. We hope TPS families will support the change and enjoy the convenience of the new app.
IMPORTANT NOTE: QkR is the preferred method of payment for tuck shop orders. No paper order forms will be issued and cash will only be accepted in special circumstances. Orders will open 2 weeks prior to tuck shop and close at 10am on the Monday prior to tuck shop. An email will be sent to advice when ordering is open.
