A big round of applause and thank you to the hard working parents and students that spent two hours at our annual working bee last Sunday to make the school grounds shine !
We started at 9:45am with a meet and greet and some lovely morning tea including freshly hand rolled oats, stewed fruit, yoghurt & honey. By 12pm I was very impressed by what we had achieved: Furniture and garden tools were assembled and moved; the kitchen received a good scrub; the bird aviary had a proper clean; our chooks got some TLC; the compost was turned and rebuilt; the garden was weeded; the worm farms were harvested and garden beds were filled with compost ready to be planted out. What a great morning!
