Grade 4 News

This week has been incredibly busy and exciting. As part of our exploration of life cycles in our science, unit we have just planted our broadbean seeds in our classes, observing and recording our measurements and results. We also went to Fareshare Kitchen Garden on Wednesday the 2nd as part of our sustainability unit with Mr. Beck. This involved interaction with food production where we harvested and cleaned sweet potatoes, ready to be sent to the Fareshare Kitchen for consumption by those in need. Year 4 showed an incredible display of teamwork, helping each other out, as well as an understanding of how their work has helped others in the community.

We would also like to extend our congratulations to everyone who participated in the Toorak Primary School cross country on Monday the 30th of April. It was a fantastic day and was great to see so many students who were keen to give the run their best.
