This week the Year 56’s were treated to a day at the movies! Toorak Primary, along with a handful of other local schools, were invited to a special exclusive screening of Hugh Jackman’s new film, “Pan”.
Pan is the prequel to the famous story “Peter Pan”, and tells the story of how Peter got to Neverland in the first place. Students were shown a special never-seen-before extended trailer at the Jam Factory in Prahran.
Following the screening, the real fun began, and special surprise guest, Hugh Jackman, came out to speak to the students. Two lucky TPS students, Aimee and Jemima, were chosen to ask questions to Hugh. They got to sit in the front row for the session, and sit down with him and discuss their questions!
It was a great experience for the kids to look behind the scenes at a fantastic story and the process of making movies. They were able to see one of Australia’s biggest international stars in person, and learn a little about his life in the movie industry. Another great day to be a student at TPS!
