On the Thursday 16th of July the Grade 3 students went to ScienceWorks. Everyone was very excited, and when we got there we visited the Think Ahead, Alice in Wonderland and Sportworks galleries.
We also had a workshop where we learnt about why we have night and day, and how the tilt of the earth causes the seasons. We also saw a movie in the planetarium called Tilt that helped us understand this.
We all had an excellent time, with a number of children falling asleep on the bus on the way back to school. We would also like to say a big thank you to those parents who were able to assist on the day.
